My Students

I teach third grade in the best rural school in Oklahoma! We are a Title I school with many of my students being on free and reduced-price lunch. Our school is extremely supportive of our students and their learning.

My students are amazing this year.

They came in my classroom the first day of school eager to learn. Excitement shines in their eyes when we discuss how much we are going to learn this year.

Our classroom is an inviting space for my students to be themselves and be productive with hands-on learning. We are a community of learners.

My Project

I teach an amazing group of children this year. These educational games and other items will benefit my students and many students in the following years. Learning to actually play a game without technology or online is something these children need.

We are still maneuvering through the COVID-19 pandemic with learning and my group of children have not bee able to work in close proximity to each other and have missed out of a lot of collocation, cooperation and communication with their peers and it is very evident.

The materials are able to reach all types of learners; kinesthetic, audio, and visual. They will add to the experiences my students will encounter with their peers in my classroom. My students will be able to move around our classroom and learn by playing instead of sitting at their desk for numerous minutes of their day.
