Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are very special. Their learning environment is multicultural and they will be learning in two languages ​​(English and Spanish).

Having the sensory table tool will help them develop in the following areas:

It will improve fine motor skills (by using their fingers to pick up small objects); their cognitive skills (by interacting with different elements that they can count, label, and combine); develop language skills (by encouraging communication with other children). The sensory table is also beneficial for building their imaginations through free play and help encourage their self-esteem and confidence. Overall, my students will be learning a lot by making good use of this valuable learning tool.

I've also asked for a small couch so that my students can read and study their science texts in comfort. The Shapes Discovery Boxes and the What's Inside? will be perfect for our math and engineering practice. All of these manipulatives will enhance my students' learning.
