Dear Generous Donor,I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to share an exciting and important initiative that we are undertaking at our school—a project that focuses on both the health of our students and the health of our planet. As part of our commitment to fostering a sustainable and environmentally responsible school community, we are launching a drive to collect reusable water bottles for every student.
The goal is simple: to ensure that our students stay hydrated throughout the school day, while simultaneously reducing single-use plastic waste.
With your support, we can achieve both objectives and create a lasting impact on the environment.
The Need for Reusable Water Bottles
Every year, millions of single-use plastic bottles are discarded around the world, contributing to the ever-growing plastic waste crisis. These bottles take hundreds of years to break down, posing a significant threat to ecosystems and wildlife. As an educational institution, we feel it is our responsibility to equip our students not only with the knowledge they need to become informed citizens but also with the tools to make a real difference in the world around them.
By providing each student with a reusable water bottle, we can drastically reduce the number of plastic bottles our school uses. Students will be encouraged to bring their own bottles to school and refill them throughout the day, helping to minimize waste while maintaining proper hydration.
