Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

With the pandemic in our rearview, we are striving to provide our students with engaging, interactive, safe, and beneficial activities to do during their assigned recess periods. Studies indicate that movement and positive play have direct benefits to academic achievement and we aspire for our recess times to be productive and meaningful.

This project will provide equipment for over 700 students that they can utilize as materials for exciting, collaborative activities at recess.

This pack includes jump ropes, soccer balls, cones, basketballs, and frisbees. This equipment will have an immediate impact on our student morale and eliminate wasted time during the recess period. My students will be thrilled to see all the new equipment not just because it gives them an extra ball to play with but because it gives them more opportunities to use their imagination. This project will serve my school for years to come.
