My Project

I made all kinds of things with shrinky dinks when I was little. They were my all-time favorite thing to do. Over 30 years later I still remember the fun I had with them. I want to turn that fun into learning. We have a big unit on plant and animal cells. We could create cells with all of their organelles on the shrinky dink paper and they would have a cell to keep.

Making learning fun makes learning memorable!

The marble run will work with so many science lessons. Potential energy, motion, velocity, gravity, the list is endless. Origami will be helpful with our geometry unit. We can use it for finding area and perimeter angles, and have fun while doing it.

I can't wait to see how these supplies will help my kids and what they will inspire in them.
