Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My kindergarten class consists of 22 amazing students. My students are learning to read, write, and count. They love to learn through play and enjoy making connections to their peers both in the classroom and outside on the playground. Center time is especially fun because they have the opportunity to learn new things through play.

Curious, enthusiastic, and creative; my students deserve to be immersed in authentic learning experiences that challenge them on their level.

My class has a wide range of learning styles and the needs of many will be met with these new materials. Grouping my students based on their ability and having small group instruction is crucial for their growth and development.

My Project

My students will benefit from the materials in my project because they will allow for creativity and a space in which I can provide more focused small group instruction. Magnatiles are an incredible toy that allows children to really learn through play and tie into our science curriculum. Build creations with a focus on STEM my class will have fun while learning. These toys are perfect for independent play or group activities. Magnatiles are a non gender specific toy that boys and girls enjoy playing with at any age, especially in kindergarten!

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.

The kidney shaped table that has a dry erase top will allow me to make small group instruction even more interactive. A dry erase top can allow my students to draw and write about their feels or a math problem we are trying to solve!
