My Project
This school year, I want to make sure my students have many opportunities and modes to express themselves and manage their emotions. Children have such unique ideas and need to be provided with the tools to express that.
Children need tools in a classroom to express themselves and regulate their emotions.
The sand timers help with transitions, the playdoh can be used as a calm-down tool or a means of expression, the different types of paper, stamps, and pens are used in the art center, and They will be able to use these materials as an open-ended way show who they are and what they think/like.
As we start a new year, a huge focus in my classroom is feelings! I want to make sure there are ample ways to express their young minds and ideas.
