As teachers in a public school, we are forced to make what we have work for our students. Our classroom is special because we treat our classmates and friends with love, kindness and respect. If a student doesn't have materials or supplies needed, we try our best to use what we have and make the best of any situation.

This allows students from different backgrounds to come together to collaborate and share their bright ideas! Everyday, my students come into my classroom eager to learn and share their ideas with their friends. We follow our school’s mission, preparing our students for today and tomorrow by providing strong academic and emotional foundations.
My Project
Having an organized classroom helps students and teachers to have an enjoyable learning experience. My students come into a classroom that they feel proud of, and it is important for me to maintain the fun, flexibility and organization. We recently got a project funded to help my students get organized. We did not realize that the bins we ordered did not come with lids!
We are requesting some help in getting lids for our manipulative bins to get organized.
With the lids, we are able to stack the bins and keep everything neat and safe for the students to transport from their desks to the carpet area. We are also requesting some colorful stools to help modernize our flexible seating.
