My Students

My Junior Varsity soccer team consists of Freshman and Sophomores. Many of these players will only play at this level. Having the opportunity to represent their school builds school/team pride and an investment into how well they will perform academically.

The players are racially, socially and economically diverse.

Being on this team helps these young men experience events at practice and games outside of their comfort zone. Being a member of the team challenges these players to work together for a common goal.

My Project

I would like the 26 to 30 members of the Junior Varsity soccer team to receive some new equipment with which to enhance their High School sports' experience. The three (3) required game balls, ten (10) practice balls that have a consistent "feel" for better touch, and two (2) sets of mini goals to help focus on a smaller target to improve accuracy in small sided games will go a long way towards this goal.

Soccer is played in all weather conditions.

The canopy will allow the substitutes to be protected from the rain during games and at daily practices.
