My Students

Our students come to school eager to learn with their mind and heart open for everything their teachers have to offer.

School is a very important part of our students' lives.

We teach at a Title I school with over 70% of our students receiving a free or reduced-price lunch and all of our students get free breakfast in the mornings. We have a backpack program that sends home food with kids over the weekend and offers free lunch for students over the summer break.

My Project

By helping us get this kitchen, you will be giving my students the gift of learning important life skills and learn how to interact and socialize with their peers. At this age, socializing and learning how to cope with emotions are key.

A play kitchen in the classroom allows strong imaginations to take shape!

A future chef will make amazing meals for his friends to try while a busy mommy and daddy will cook and take care of their family. A play kitchen will be put to great use in my classroom and it will be appreciated for years to come for tons of students that enter!
