Help me give my students an amazing way to learn. Young children learn best through play. To them, they are not playing they are working hard and applying all the skills they have learned throughout the day.
This year my partner and I would like to implement a monthly/quarterly play center in our rooms. Kids play is hard work and they need amazing tools to learn. We service a population over 90% low income and social skills is high priority for us as many do not attend preschool. We would like to expose them to high quality materials to expand their play and practice their social skills along with academics. So much can be learned through play! Each month or so we would like to change out the center to match either the holiday or our curriculum to expand their learning and to keep them interested in the center.
