I have two half day preschool classes of three, four, and five year olds. I have yet to meet my new classroom yet but I’m positive that we will have a great school year!
My school is in a low-income area and all of my students are on free or reduced breakfast and lunch.
They love coming to school and all have loving and caring families that are extremely involved in the classroom. They are grateful for the positive experience their students are having for their first time in school.
My Project
Last year I got 20 snow boots and 20 snow suits for my two half day preschools. They absolutely had a blast playing in the snow and I, as the teacher, didn't have to worry if parents sent in proper clothing - it was all in the classroom! This year, I don't want the rain to stop us from going outside!
Young children love to play in the rain and puddles!
Sometimes adults stop them because they don't have the correct clothing. My goal is to allow my students to be free to explore the great outdoors rain or shine, mud puddles or no mud puddles.
