Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

There are many challenges that highschool students face related to their mental health. A nintendo switch console and game would provide some stress relief for my students throughout the school day. Technology and gaming is proven to help teens with stress relief by engaging their brains in a fun and educational way. Mario Kart would allow my students to play with up to four peers at a time, which creates an interactive environment in the classroom. Socializing is also proven to help teens in improving their mental health and anxiety. As for the crayons, I plan on using art as a therapeutic method for my students to express their emotions and feelings. My overall goal is to enhance my students' mental health by encouraging positive student relationships and building self confidence through technology and art.
