My Project

After students finish a literacy or math lesson they go off to smaller groups to continue their learning. Having high-quality and engaging materials and activities for students helps keep them engaged and challenges them at their just-right level.

Having more materials that specifically target the literacy and math goals of each group helps me differentiate what students need.

It's easy to see that some materials help children practice reading words or practice addition. Other materials, like board games, practice math and literacy in ways you might not notice right away, like developing 1:1 correspondence and counting skills.
