This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are amazing human beings! They are full of life and have endless potential to do so many wonderful things. My school is a Title I school in a poverty-stricken​ community.

Our school consists of a very large English language learner population.

All of our students receive free breakfast and free lunch. Many of our parents struggle to help meet the needs of school supplies and the needs of their children. Regardless of these circumstances, my students overcome! They are learning how to face challenges and grow stronger academically, socially, and emotionally, preparing them for the next level of life.

I believe that these students deserve every opportunity this world has to offer and I am determined to help them get it. These students can change the world with their brilliant minds and can climb out of the cycle of poverty through the gift of education. They will learn that the world is theirs for the taking with hard work, dedication, and knowledge.

My Project

Remember the good old days when our parents sent us outside we created our own magic without any toys? Those days are becoming rarer & rarer, which is why my students need this variety of sporting equipment to create their own fun!

Students can have more fun at recess when they have the right equipment!

From balls, to frisbees, to even RC cars, having these types of activities would allow my future athletes, race car drives, pilots, to have the most fun at recess they could ever imagine in their life! It'll also teach allow them to work together, build friendships, and learn new skills!
