Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At our Family Resource Center, children often accompany their parents, who visit to access resources or complete important tasks. Unfortunately, we currently lack the materials to keep our young children engaged in a meaningful way. The developmentally appropriate toys I am requesting—such as magnetic building tiles, puzzles, and imaginative play sets—will do more than entertain; they will encourage learning through play. These toys will help children develop critical skills like problem-solving, creativity, and fine motor coordination while fostering independent and collaborative play.

The goal of this project is to provide a safe, engaging environment where children can learn and grow while their parents focus on their own needs.

The children we serve are curious, resilient, and full of potential. With access to enriching materials, they can turn time spent at our center into an opportunity to learn, explore, and thrive.
