My Project

My amazing and brilliant students are working on developing a range of skills, including articulation/phonology, fluency, and social, receptive, and expressive language. Having fun and engaging materials makes their speech therapy sessions just that much more special!

While activities using toys can look like "just play," structured games are a wonderful way to target social skills (turn-taking!

supportive and kind language!), self-advocacy abilities, vocabulary, syntax, and more. Reinforcing games such as Picky Kitty, Gobble Monster Game, or Mr. Potato Head are perfect for making even the more tedious articulation drills something students look forward to. Speech therapy-specific games such as Figurative Language Grab Play Game facilitate productive and highly targeted sessions.

The TPT gift cards will allow me to purchase companion activities for the games, and the laminating sheets will allow me to create relevant visuals for the activities to target speech therapy goals.
