My Project

I believe that creating a recycling habit at an early age is very important. I want to provide tumblers in my classroom. Promoting the use of reusable cups will help students learn how to reuse their cups. We will keep a tally of how many times they have refilled their cups and that way compare how many plastic bottles of water have been prevented from ending up in a landfill.

These tumblers will be personalized and will give my students ownership of this lesson.

They will see a concrete step towards helping their world.
