My Project

Despite resources within the community such as a park and a science museum, not all students have experienced real-world science. Doing lab activities in class helps my students see themselves as scientists and allows them to connect with science in a way that was not possible during online learning. The Plants in a Bottle lab experiment will help my students realize that science is all around them by exploring how different environments affect the processes of photosynthesis and respiration. It will also promote global citizenship by exposing them to the impacts that different environmental conditions can have on organisms we depend on.
