This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Hello, my students are very excited about learning about technology and using different programs, like Google Drawing, Scratch, Code.org, and other programs to start developing a foundation in becoming a computer science, or one of the many STEM careers that are there. Some of my student take a coding class in elementary school, and some are now learning how to code, and use Google Suite. My students are very eager to learn the different aspects of technology that I teach them. Every day when we have class my students look forward to learning new skills and enjoy their creations.
My student love to code and make beautiful graphical drawings that we display in our school.
Along with learning technology and the different aspect I explain the many benefits of knowing how to code, and use technology, that will help them in college and if they choose a wonderful career in technology of some STEM fields. My students have fun learning technology and using it.
My Project
Gardening is a forgotten lesson in our schools. Student will learn the importance of how plants are grown from a seed and be able to plant their own seeds and see them grow in the classroom. My students will experience the whole process of putting soil into a cardboard small container then placing a seed in the soil, then watering it, giving it sunlight from the light heater, and seeing the miracle of the seeds growing into a plant and then bearing fruit that can be eaten.
As my students watch their seeds grow this will teach them the importance of sustainable resources, being productive in their communities in their homes.
As a result, imparting skills that they could use as young adults in their communities and their homes.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
