My Project

Our elementary school garden club provides students with a hands-on opportunity to explore the natural world, develop responsibility, and learn valuable life skills. With access to garden tools my students will be able to engage in experiential learning by teaching science and where food comes from.

They can foster responsibility and teamwork by caring for plants, students learn patience, responsibility, and the value of working together toward a shared goal.

These garden tools can also promote health and wellness through encouraging physical activity and introducing students to healthy eating habits by growing fresh vegetables and herbs they can taste and enjoy.
