My Project

I teach two classes on rotation each day, as the first grade ELA teacher. Working with two distinct groups of students calls for very careful and precise planning, based on day-to-day data and observation, while planning in order to meet the individual needs of each of my students.. I am requesting an external monitor, with connecting HDMI cables, a wireless keyboard and mouse combo, and spare charger.

These items will benefit my students because when attached to my professional laptop, I will be able to use the monitor, keyboard and mouse to look at student data and curricula while at the same time writing lesson plans, to best develop lessons and group work that will meet the needs of my students.

Through this careful planning of lessons, students will learn phonetic skills to apply to their reading and writing; to read with accuracy, fluency and comprehension; and write paragraphs in different genres of writing with completely correct structure based on these lessons.
