My Project
I have 19 students who are eager for knowledge. They love to learn facts, ask questions, and have discussions on a variety of topics. They also love to hear stories and for me to share picture books with them. I daresay one of their favorite parts of the day is our read-aloud time. I would like to encourage this eagerness through good, classic literature with beautiful illustrations.
In this project I am requesting read-alouds on a variety of topics: dinosaurs, planets, Daniel Boone, art, inventors, George Washington and more! In my classroom, I love to bring subjects alive through books and words that we can then relate to facts, history, and knowledge that are in our curriculum. I can think of no better way to teach students than through literature and inspire them to wonder, write about, question and discuss big ideas.
