Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Most of my students come from economically disadvantaged communities. The paper trays, mini clipboards, giant timers, and other materials will give them the opportunity to reinforce phonemic Awareness skills before starting to read. My students will be able to practice the letter of the week during workstations and independent practice.

These materials will provide my students with multiple opportunities to practice the letter of the week, its name, and the sound that this letter makes.

I would like to reinforce Phonemic Awareness daily using different activities, including writing, listening, producing the sound, and using the letter of the week.
