This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a high school baseball team from a Title I school, our students are extremely passionate about baseball, but unfortunately, we lack the necessary resources to compete at the same level as other schools. One of our biggest needs is a pitcher's pocket, which will enable us to train more effectively and compete at a higher level.

A pitcher's pocket is a device that helps pitchers hone their accuracy and consistency.

By providing a target for the pitcher to throw to, it helps them improve their aim and increase their confidence on the mound. This will not only improve our team's performance on the field, but it will also keep our players engaged and motivated throughout the season and school year.

Donations to this project will make a huge difference for our team. With a pitcher's pocket, our players will have the opportunity to train like never before, giving them a better chance to succeed on the field. It will also help us level the playing field against other schools that have access to more resources. We are grateful for any support we receive and are excited to see the positive impact it will have on our team.
