My Project

The "Pirates of the Fresh Sea" hygiene program at our Title I, Tier 4 school provides essential hygiene supplies to students who may otherwise lack access to these critical resources. With over 15 languages spoken across our student body, many of our students come from diverse backgrounds and face challenges related to economic hardship. The program ensures that all students, regardless of their background, have access to basic hygiene products like soap, shampoo, toothpaste, and feminine hygiene products. These items are crucial to fostering a learning environment where students are not distracted by discomfort or insecurity about their hygiene, allowing them to focus better in class and engage more fully in their education.

Our goal is to break down barriers to learning by supporting the physical well-being of our students.

By providing hygiene essentials, we aim to enhance both their confidence and academic success.

What makes our students special is their resilience and determination to succeed, despite facing economic hardships and language barriers. As a Title I, Tier 4 school, many of our students are English Language Learners (ELL). Providing them with access to hygiene products allows them to focus on overcoming academic challenges and excelling in their educational journey. The "Pirates of the Fresh Sea" program ensures that our students have the foundation they need to succeed in school.
