My Students

Theatre kids are some of the best kids in the building at my school. They are confident, collaborative and incredibly charming. Over the past few years, I have had with these students, their creativity has surpassed my expectations every time. They are high schoolers, but they operate at a level of professionalism that surpasses some adults.

They are a tight-knit group that supports and challenges each other to improve their artistry.

Every time I throw something new or innovative at my students, they take on the challenge with enthusiasm.

My Project

The items chosen for this fundraiser will go directly towards making the backstage more professional for our students. The soundproof paneling will help to curb noise, the storage items will keep it clean, the fidget toys will help their stage anxiety and the makeup items will allow for consistent design across all actors.

The FDHS Theatre Students are professional, creative and innovative.

Unfortunately, we are limited because our budget comes directly from ticket sales without much district support. Every year, I assess the area that would most help our students and using the resources provided by donorschoose, I believe our dressing room is the best place to improve next.
