My Project

Fractions can be tricky, but with the right tools, my fourth graders can master them! These hands-on fraction manipulatives (Fraction Stax, Fraction Flip Chart, Magnetic Fraction Pizza, Fraction Tower Cubes, Magnetic Fraction Tiles) will help my students build a deep understanding of equivalency, a key fourth-grade math standard. By using these manipulatives in small groups, my students will engage in interactive, visual learning that makes abstract concepts concrete. Small group instruction allows me to give targeted support, helping each student grasp the "why" behind fractions - not just the "how."
