it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

Do you remember being able to look back at pictures through your education. Being able to have that joy of seeing something you learned or a fun activity you did years before OR just the joy of someone taking your picture. That is what I am hoping for my students.
My school is located in a low income urban area in New York City.
We are a Title 1 school. The students are from immigrant families that are just beginning their journeys into the United States. The students are sweet, caring and good at heart and always willing to learn.
My Project
With these cameras our students will be able to use them as an educational tool. They will be able to learn valuable lessons on how to ask questions and revisit activities to see how other students did the same activity. They will also be helpful in having students use another outlet for their creativity. When students are shy, sometimes it helps to have a camera to explore the world with.
Please send us these cameras, I feel as an educator there value will be so worthwhile for our students.
As we grow as a school and try and incorporate all aspects of learning I feel that technology can only help these students grow in ways they have not been able to before.
