My Students

Hi my pre-k students are the sweetest most resilient children I have had in my classroom. This year they have had so many changes. They have dealt with blended learning coming to school on certain days remote on others . Then they school was closed for two weeks. We are opened and they were so excited to start school in person again. They have taken all these changes of schedules and new social distancing rules and have adapted to every change .

My Project

A photo printer will be used for various things. In pre-k children learn to clean up and organize materials. Pictures and words help them make connections and promote pre reading skills. We also take pictures to label their cubbies and make their name cards. The whole year can be captured in photographs where they can look back on prior units and recall activities they loved. The photo printer will also help with photos of units we are studying for example the plant unit. We can print pictures of a cactus plant which city kids are not exposed to.
