This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My middle school photography students love the four Lumix FZ80 cameras we currently use. They look and feel like professional cameras, and the pictures from these cameras are sharper and have more depth because of their zoom capabilities. We currently share the ones we have, which causes confusion on who took which picture and frustration amongst the students.

I picture the day each student in the class will be assigned a Lumix camera for their individual use in their photo assignments and none will have to share them.

Adding four more Lumix FZ80 cameras will help us greatly toward this goal. The students’ learning of photography will be quicker and more motivating because they will each have a camera to use in class and their photographs will be of higher quality and more interesting.
