My Students

Look what we can do! We would like to promote awareness of our small learning community and our clubs on campus by showing our pictures in the main lobby.

My students come from a high poverty area.

They attend a school where they are forming small learning communities. The visual and performing arts small learning community is only starting out and already all of the art classes have been cut. The students are desperate to keep performance and art alive in their classrooms. They are eager to show their talents to the community.

My Project

we are asking for a digital camera, a digital picture frame and a memory card to display our talents in the main lobby of our school. Our visual and performing small learning community is just starting out and most of our art classes have been cut. We would like to make the community aware that we exist and we are performing and doing art and a display in the main lobby would help expose our talent to the visitors and students in the main lobby of our building.

Our project is important because it will give our small learning community a chance to promote themselves.

If the students and visitors can see their talents displayed in the lobby, it will be a huge self esteem builder for our students and our small learning community.
