My Students

I have the pleasure of teaching Graphic Design to all grade levels at a public high school in Newark, NJ. No matter what obstacles my students face on a daily basis, from being teenage parents to raising siblings, or even being homeless, they always come to class and are excited and eager to learn. Would love for my students to experience the use of high-end technology that may not be available for their use.

Students, through no fault of their own, are challenged with taking care of their siblings and possibly providing income for the household.

My Project

Students will be able to use the high-end photography equipment to enhance their photography experience by learning how to use different lenses for different scenes or photographical outcomes. They will use them for multiple school projects like the yearbook, school magazine, school trips, sporting events, or candid shots, this camera will complement their creativity while students learn the difference between the lenses and when to use them.

My students will learn how to calculate dimensions as well as make decisions on which lens will give them the best effect desired.

Photography is so important today and all it takes is that one picture to put you on the map for the road to being a recognized photographer.
