My Project

My request for materials is an eclectic mix. Just like the group of students who will get to use them. We use whiteboards for daily math practice and these whiteboards designed specifically for multiplication and division will be a game changer to ensure understanding. The easel stands will be used to display their work individually and to keep organized.

I incorporate art into all subjects - we make our own books, murals, collages, dragons, illuminated manuscripts, fraction strips, and maps to name just a few.

The paper will give them so many choices to create art and express their learning. And the self -sharpening colored pencils will save my sanity from the constant GRRRRRRR of the sharpener! (I mean will be greatly appreciated by all.) The Charlotte's Web materials and animals will be used for a unit which combines literature and writing with growing vegetables in our school garden.

My students , the PICKLEs, are lovely humans and you should know that they are so appreciative and deserving of anything that will encourage and support their learning.
