This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Pickle ball is one of the fastest growing sports, with more and more courts being built there are more new opportunities to play. Especially in my school's community in the South Bronx, where they just built a court. Receiving these racquets not only will give me students who live in a low income area get introduced to a new sport, but improve in areas such as hand/eye coordination, sportsmanship, and teamwork. Our students are always open to new concepts and ideas so bringing in the sport of pickle ball is something I know they will love.
