Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My goal is to build a classroom that is rich in conversation, collaboration, and community. A new podium will allow all of my students to build confidence, develop critical thinking skills, increase poise and self-esteem. Additionally with a new podium, students will increase their research and debate skills and improve their public speaking abilities. With the use of a podium, students will be able to construct and share their ideas, discover new information, and add on or ask questions of their classmates. Over time, they will be able to exchange their views with one another and take charge of their own independent learning.

This project will have a lasting impact on my students' confidence, self-esteem and communication skills.

When they are able to share their own ideas, they will actively grow in their verbal skills.

Thank you for your consideration in improving each students presenting abilities and self pride through the use of a new podium.
