My Project
As we enter the 23-24 academic school year, I would like to provide my students with an opportunity to have flexible seating. For many of us, that was not an option in school. We had assigned seats, and often the seats were not comfortable.
Children need to move, especially my young kindergarten students.
Meeting the needs of my students looks different. For some of my student that means the opportunity for them to wobble, rock, bounce, lean or stand while learning. My goal is to provide them with the most comfortable learning environment.
My students are often very excited when they get to select their seat. With these new additions, I will be able to add a chair to our technology center and completely switch up one small group learning center.
