My Students

I teach at a Title I school. More than half of the students are living in a low-income family household. Despite this, these students love to learn.

"I can't do this, yet, but I am going to keep on trying.” This is a quote from one of my students this year.

They love to try new things and not give up.

My students entered my class at various levels in reading and math. They love to work together and help each other at any time during the day. They need hands-on activities to keep them focused. They are very hard workers, and I can't wait to see them grow this year!

My Project

It is hard for children now a days to sit down and complete their work. At such a young age, they need to be moving constantly. Having different options as to where they can sit and work, will definitely help them be successful.

Students work better when they have choices.

Giving my class many different seating options will allow the students to be in control of their learning. They will pick the best smart seat for them each day. If they try a seat and it's not the best fit for them, they have more options to choose from.

These will help those wiggly students stay focused. They can do their work in the best spot for them. I think these will really help my students with their focus.
