My Students

My students are the most loving, wise, cute and expressive little people that you will ever encounter. My students are very inquisitive and always want to dive deeper into the whys of the world. If they cannot feel, hear, touch, smell, and or see something to prove a point then they believe it is not possible or will not happen. Some of my students have other needs and require a little more attention than others but, they do not let their disabilities of any kind be an inability to them learning. They are exceptional students who make me the exceptional education teacher I am.

My Project

Think back to when you were in kindergarten. Traditionally, in kindergarten when the Fall season comes, you take a field trip to the Pumpkin Patch. Unfortunately, this year that will not be happening for my kindergartners.

My students are very inquisitive and always want to dive deeper into the whys of the world.

If they cannot feel, hear, touch, smell, and or see something to prove a point, then they believe it is not possible to happen. Please help me to create and carry on the tradition of going to a Pumpkin Patch virtually for my kindergartners. I am planning to use the cups to collect the seeds out of their pumpkins that they cut at home with their families for the series of activities that we are planning to do. Of course, we would have conducted our investigations in class but we will have to do them at home virtually. The construction paper in orange, brown, green, and black will be used to create various projects of a pumpkin such as a paper jack-o-lantern face. Each of their activities will have a story to go with them.

The book, "From Seed to Pumpkin" will be used to describe and show how a pumpkin starts out as a seed and grows into a pumpkin. The Miracle Gro potting soil, will be used by the teacher to plant a couple of the pumpkin seeds for the class to keep track of their growth and to keep their inquisitive minds questioning how a pumpkin grows.
