This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students beg for me to let them play on my piano in the classroom. When I've had piano classes at school, my students will have to finger along with the music on laminated pianos I printed out. Then, I'd have them come up to my piano one at a time. It works, but so much time is wasted! These pianos will give my students more opportunities to play.

I know they will be thrilled the day I bring more pianos in to the classroom.

I have students asking me to have piano lessons after school. Playing piano sharpens fine motor skills, improves hand-eye coordination, improves memory, improves attention spans, and so much more. It’s also super fun! We need these pianos!
