My Project

Our Music Theory class has gained momentum and popularity over the past few years. Students from all musical backgrounds and levels are enrolling in the course. This includes students who have no musical experience to those who are preparing to pursue a music major at the university level.

Last year, we incorporated basic keyboard instruction into the curriculum.

This helped level the playing field amongst the varying levels of musicianship in the class.

With over twenty students, we didn't have enough keyboard instruments or pianos to regularly implement formal piano instruction. We also lacked access to appropriate methodology books. With your support, we will have lesson books and keyboards for two classroom piano lesson stations!
