it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are college bound teens who have been introduced to the wonder world of science. However, we are a Title I school, low income, where our resources are limited and we need your help. I'm asking to please help us with my supplies. Especially with Covid I can't have the students share equipment.
My Project
The first object I am asking for is a physics lab kit since my lab has no equipment. This kit would help me show the students how to this knowledge can apply to real world issues.
I'm also starting a urban farming composting bin and worms for my environmental studies class.
My class is located in Central Los Angeles where farming is no where to be found but hope to plant some wildflowers with the compost fertilizer that will be created from the composting bin. Wildflowers are great for urban areas especially to provide bees with some pollen and food.
