This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

When students' physical needs are not met, it becomes increasingly difficult for them to focus and be productive in class. It becomes imperative that we ensure all students are comfortable in the learning spaces they are in. If they are not, the student's focus zeroes in on the unfulfilled need.

No learning can occur when a student's physical needs are not met.

Whether that need is sufficing an empty stomach or tending to a menstrual cycle need; physical needs will always come before learning needs.

The materials listed in my project are all personal hygiene resources for students to have access to in my classroom. Whether they are returning from gym class, and are in need of a hygienic product, or they are suddenly met with their monthly cycle; my project strives to provide that support of health and wellness.
