Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students come from a high poverty neighborhood with a very diverse range of home structures: nuclear, single parent, foster and migrant, to name a few.
My students love to be at school and enjoy learning, especially when the activities are hands-on.
Many of my students are English Language Learners that attend a public school in the South Central Los Angeles area. They are always excited to experience any kind of technology that I'm able to bring to my class.
My Project
Fitness is really important in today's society. Students have come up to me and asked me why aren't they able to play softball in school. I had to explain to them that the school does not have the equipment to play the sport. Giving the students this response is what inspired me to write this project to get us some gloves, bats and softballs.
Students at LE school should be able to play the sports that they desire.
Your support in bringing softball to this school will be greatly appreciated. Students will get the opportunity to play the sport they enjoy. Thank you kindly for your support.
