Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This school year, I am focused on incorporating more fitness games/activities within our physical education classes. I am requesting boxing equipment to assist in our PE fitness unit, racquets and shuttles to assist in our team building games.

By working as a team, my students will develop important life skills like problem solving, listening, leadership, and creative thinking during physical education classes.

Nurturing teamwork skills also develops higher levels of self-confidence, self-esteem, empathy, and compassion. Introducing new activities/games will hopefully keep my students engaged in physical education, propelling them to increase their fitness levels!
