This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach photography to students in a school were all students come from low income families. Many of them have never been to a museum where they can see photographs and other artworks. I often project examples of famous photographs but it's not the same as standing in a museum and viewing a print of it in person.

I want to bring examples of great photos that they can interact with into the classroom.

These books will not just provide examples and viewing pleasure, they will also provide inspiration for their next shot.
