Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Through the generous donations of prior donors, we raised enough money to purchase DSLR cameras for our new photo program. Even though our program is still in its infancy, we have been able to showcase student work in galleries outside of school. We wish to extend its life with accessories that generally are not in the kits we purchased with the equipment we do have. We need UV filters to protect our lenses, spare batteries to allow students to shoot for long periods, especially at events, monopods to capture better action shots, and 50mm lenses that will open up opportunities in low-light situations.
