This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Phonological and phonemic awareness are the foundational skills students in pre-k and Kindergarten use to become readers. This program will help my class to have a curriculum that is intentional and strategic I'm working on these foundational key skills. I would love to use this program because it has higher rigor and is backed by more data on its effectiveness. This will also help me to implement more skills in phonological awareness that will push and grow my students in their learning. The books are for when my students start to read and they are growing in their reading skills.
