My Project

My first grade students are diverse with varying levels of development in English language. Most of my students are English language learners, having another language spoken in the home. The project for developing sound production is important to reading and speaking. There are some sounds in English that do not correlate to the home language. Students need to be able to hear the sounds produced. The Reading Phones are designed to amplify the sounds to hear more clearly as students speak into the receiver. Students will be able to hear better to progress in reading and speaking.
