Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students have the biggest hearts. They are funny and silly at times and that brings a smile to everyone. They show respect for adults and other students. They are willing to help one another and show that they are ready to learn. I would love my team to give each student that extra support to take home more school materials and use them in both places when we return to school. My students look forward to coming to school and learning different strategies while we practice fun hands-on activities. We have students from different grade levels that join our group and they look forward to returning to class and socializing with their peers.

My Project

My students need to see a lot of visuals and have hands-on learning pictures to learn, therefore phonic awareness skills are used in the classroom on a daily basis. Blends and digraphs are being practiced, and some students are having difficulty comprehending the sounds. Writing is also a part of their everyday work, and some kids find it difficult to construct a basic sentence. The prompt box will provide children with graphics to help them construct their own sentences. When they witness a box being used in our groups, my students are eager to learn. They enjoy learning and having fun in order to stay engaged.
